NAIOP Tampa Bay members had the unique opportunity to participate in an informal give-and-take with newly-elected Hillsborough County Commissioner Mark Sharpe. He had accepted the invitation of Rhea Law of the Fowler White law firm to participate in the February 22, 2005 Tampa Bay Watch meeting. During his comments, the commissioners touched on the Civitas project, development opportunities with bio-technology, a county-wide and regional "vision", and the proposed, significant increase in the stormwater management assessment.
