St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Baker was NAIOP's guest for the February 20 Tampa Bay Watch meeting. He discussed his accomplishments and challenges during his first year in office. Mayor Baker is bringing business skills to city government, challenging his department heads to establish measurable goals and objectives.

The Mayor's visit attracted 34 NAIOP members. The large crowd required Echelon to move the meeting from its board room to a makeshift meeting room in an empty office space.
