Whit works at the intersection of sustainability and resilience, helping shape and advance policy focused on environmental protection, disaster preparedness, and thoughtful community development.
As the City of Tampa’s first Sustainability & Resilience Officer, Whit is advancing Mayor Jane Castor’s commitment to 100% renewable energy and building a more resilient and equitable city. In partnership with international resilience experts and community partners, Whit led creation of the Resilient Tampa roadmap - an extensive process identifying Tampa’s shocks, stresses, and resilience opportunities. In coordination with frontline communities, Whit is currently facilitating development of the Tampa Climate Action & Equity Plan.
We are pleased to announce the NAIOP Lunch Speaker Series is back! The Bi-Monthly Lunch Speaker Series will replaced the Morning Series. The event is open to NAIOP Members & their guests only. You must be a member to register. NAIOP Members receive a deeply discounted lunch at Eddie V's Prime Seafood and we only charge members the actual cost for their guests. Members are limited to two guests per member.

Your registration includes soup or salad (depending on the month), choice of entrée: 8oz Filet Mignon, Norwegian Salmon, Salt & Pepper Shrimp or Roasted Chicken, and dessert. S

Sponsor one lunch or become an annual Lunch Speaker Series Sponsor. Sponsorship includes four tickets to the lunch, your company logo on the event emails and NAIOP Tampa Bay website, and recognition from the podium during the program. Annual Sponsors have the opportunity to speak about their company (5 min) at one lunch series of their choosing.
